Ademola Alalade, a UK-based business management consultant and former broadcaster with NTA Ibadan, has secured the endorsement of Oyo State indigenes residing in the United Kingdom ahead of the Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election.

A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alalade has pledged to build on the achievements of the late Hon. Musiliudeen Olaide Akinremi, stressing the need for continuity, unity, and sustainable development in the constituency.

The by-election became necessary following the passing of Hon. Akinremi in July 2024. However, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has yet to announce a date for the poll, prompting concerns over the prolonged absence of representation in the area.

With several aspirants vying for the APC ticket, the party has assured stakeholders of a transparent and democratic selection process.
