The Oyo State Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the United Kingdom has congratulated Dr(Mrs) Florence Ajimobi on her appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria.

In a statement issued in London on behalf of the caucus by its publicity secretary Hon. Ademola Alalade, members described the appointment as well deserved, noting that Dr. Ajimobi’s unwavering commitment to the development and progress of Nigeria has positioned her for the important diplomatic role.

The caucus commended her years of dedication to public service and her contributions to nation-building, expressing confidence that she possesses the experience, competence, and leadership qualities required to represent Nigeria effectively on the international stage.

According to the group, the appointment is not only a recognition of Dr. Ajimobi’s service to the country but also a testament to her consistency in promoting initiatives that advance the welfare of Nigerians.

“We are proud of this remarkable achievement and we believe Dr. Florence Ajimobi will bring her wealth of experience and dedication to bear in the discharge of her duties as Nigeria’s envoy to Austria,” the statement read.

The APC UK Oyo State Caucus further expressed optimism that she will use her new role to strengthen diplomatic ties and foster a cordial bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Austria, particularly in areas of economic cooperation, cultural exchange, and mutual development.

While wishing her a successful and impactful tenure, the chairman of the group Hon Bayo- Amusat Gbenla  expressed hope that her appointment would open new opportunities for deeper collaboration between both countries.

Members of the caucus prayed for wisdom, strength, and success for Dr. Ajimobi as she assumes the responsibility of representing Nigeria in Austria.
